Education : A Senior Secondary school with  residential facilities for the girls.
Subjects availability- Commerce, Science, Maths and Biology with Computer Science and Informatics Practices (IP).
Infrastructure- Well- equipped labs for science subjects, Computer Science and languages.
A state of the art stadium for sports facilities.
A large computerized library to inculcate reading habits in students and to update them to qualify themselves in the competitive exams.
Students are trained to develop their talents in music, dance, sports, games and other co-curricular activities.


FSMA Novitiate was started in India (Mhow) in the year 1949 to train young girls to religious Life. At present the Novices of both the provinces (Jaipur and Mhow) are trained at Mhow. The formation programme aims at preparing them to be spiritually, psychologically, mentally and emotionally balanced persons who later commit themselves to serve humanity through the profession of Religious vows. The Novices are from 9 different states of India.

There are 25 Sisters in our Community.
Sisters are involved in the teaching apostolate and socio-pastoral activities.

1964

Sisters are involved in the Educational apostolate. The students are initiated into the social concerns of the society and they reach out to help the differently- abled children of the Manovikas school. The 2 new blocks recently built adds extra facility and accommodates the increasing number of students. The school serves as an examination centre as well as evaluation centre for the CBSE examination.
Subjects availability- Commerce, Science, Maths and Biology with Computer Science and Informatics Practices (IP).
The  school is considered as a “hub of learning”.

There are 7 sisters in the community. They involve themselves in the socio-pastoral ministry of the Diocese.

1968

Sisters are running a CBSE Senior Secondary school. It is a renowned and reputed school having a strength of about 3,000 students. Besides the academics, stress is laid on Swatchatha mission, eco- consciousness, discipline and moral education. They have a state of the art auditorium where the students get an opportunity to develop and display their talents.
One of the students, Master Arham Banthia, a budding author penned down his imaginary thoughts in his book titled, “My Jurassic Adventure” and it was launched at a public function in Indore.

1982

It is a house of prayer to deepen the contemplative dimension of spirituality. To introduce Indian spirituality and Indianisation, an Ashram was set up at  Antonpura, Jhabua on 6th August 1980. It was shifted to Naharkhedi in December 1982.
The Sisters are involved in all household chores and they provide simple medicines to the patients of the village. Two sisters are full time teachers in Mahatma Gandhi school at Khurda.

Sisters are running a Hindi medium Middle School of the Diocese of Jhabua. They look after the tribal girls in the boarding, while the boys are taken care of by the Fathers.

There are 4 Sisters. They involve themselves in the socio-pastoral activities and visit the families.

In 1897 six Sisters from Mhow left for Khurda, to take care of the orphans whose parents had died in the Cholera epidemic.
The Sisters discontinued their services in 1943 and the mission was handed over to the Holy Spirit Sisters. In 1985 again, we were asked to take up the mission and thus the FSMA presence still continues.

 

2 Sisters are working in the school, run by the SVD Fathers. 1 sister is engaged in the Social work in collaboration with the IDSS, Indore. We are also running a Dispensary which provides medical assistance to patients from around the villages.

The community consists of 5 Sisters involved in various apostolates.

A convent with multiple apostolate such as Old Age Home,
Home for the physically disabled children & deaf and dumb children.
The sisters give Training in Herbal treatment and are specialized in body massages. They also make available Ayurvedic medicines.

There are 5 sisters who make up the community.

2009

Our mission began with a Dispensary which was started on 1st November 2009. At present, it is a well equipped 50 bedded General hospital providing treatment, solace and comfort to all the patients. The different departments are – OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Pathology, Maternity, Physio-theraphy, Operation theatres, NICU etc.
It is a growing hospital and the number of patients availing our services are on the increase day by day.

A well furnished community block is set up for the sisters of the community. There are 13 sisters of which a few are convalescing.

Two sisters are staying in a flat called the “Assisi Niwas” at Indore. They render services to St. Arnold’s Higher Secondary school at Vijaynagar, Indore from June 2015. It is a transit house for the FSMA’s as well as a recuperating place for our sisters after their treatment at Robert’s Nursing Home.

2020

 

 

 

Mhow Province has ventured into a new mission at Simrol- St. Mary’s Convent, School. It is a sister concern of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Mhow. The Province purchased some land with an engineering college which was closed down. We will be running a school in this place. The sessions were to start in the month of June 2020 but due to lockdown, work has been delayed.
